Information Webling processes
When you choose to inspect a webpage, Webling may process page content and technical metadata necessary to provide the audit, including headings, links, images, title information, canonical URLs, robots directives, language attributes, and structured data such as JSON-LD.
Site-level requests
Webling may request technical resources from the current website, including /robots.txt and the conventional /sitemap.xml location, in order to report crawl and sitemap hints. These requests are made only to provide the inspection feature.
What Webling does not do
- Webling does not require an account.
- Webling does not sell user data.
- Webling does not use inspected page data for targeted advertising.

Local extension data
Webling may use browser extension storage for limited product state or preferences required for the extension experience. The v1.0.0 audit workflow does not require a remote user account or cloud profile.
Third-party websites
Webling analyzes websites selected by the user. Those websites have their own privacy practices and policies, which are outside Webling’s control.
Security and purpose limitation
Permissions and website access are used only to provide Webling’s technical SEO inspection functionality, including scanning the active page, highlighting or locating inspected elements, and checking relevant technical resources.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Webling’s features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
